Thunderstorm advisory hoisted over parts of Mindanao

(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over parts of Mindanao. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Lanao del Norte, Davao del Norte and Basilan within the next one to two hours. Easterlies affect eastern section of PHL

(Eagle News)–The easterlies are affecting the eastern section of the country. As a result, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said  Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers. Extreme Northern Luzon and the rest of the country, PAGASA said, will have light to moderate winds. Slight to moderate coastal waters are expected.
