According to the PAGASA, the tail-end of a cold-front brings rains in eastern Visayas while the greater part of Luzon will experience cloudy skies due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan”.

PAGASA issues separate gale warning
Due to the strength of “amihan”, PAGASA issued a separate gale warning prohibiting small vessels from sailing.

Cloudy skies and rain in Cordillera
According to the PAGASA, the “Amihan” continues to affect Luzon bringing cloudy skies and some rain in Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon Province.
Areas in Visayas and Luzon declared under Signal Number 1
Several areas in Luzon and Visayas were declared under public storm signal number one as “Amang” rampages through the region. The storm is now moving towards eastern Visayas.
LPA starts affecting parts of the country
As the LPA goes nearer the Philippine area of the responsibility, its effects are already being felt in the greater part of Visayas and Mindanao. If it gains more strength, it will be designated as “Amang” when it enters the PAR.
Storm heads for Cebu
With a wind strength of 65km/h and storm surges reaching 85km/h, tropical storm “Seniang” is heading towards Mactan, Cebu.
Storm gathers strength in Bohol
In its second landfall in Bohol, storm “Seniang” was able to gather strength with signal number two being declared in various locations in Visayas.
Storm becomes stronger in Surigao
“Seniang” lands in Surigao del Sur, becoming stronger and placing many areas under Signal No. 2.
LPA goes nearer Philippine area of responsibility
The PAGASA is monitoring a low-pressure area that is moving closer to the Philippine area of responsibility. For now, said LPA has no direct effect to the weather of the country.
Low chance of storm this December
According to the PAGASA, there is a low chance of another storm entering the country this month, but due to the low pressure area, expect rains all over the country.
