Less possibility of storm entering Philippines

“Habagat” brings rains to MIndanao while the rest of the country will experience fair weather. PAGASA added that the storm in the Pacific will not enter the Philippines, saying that “Mario” is the last storm to visit the country this month.

Fair weather for the rest of the week

Expect fair weather today and for the rest of the week. According to the PAGASA, this is caused by the ridge of high pressure occurring in a large part of the country. But be prepared for scattered rain showers in the evening.

“Habagat” affects Northern Luzon

The “habagat” continues to affect the northern part of Luzon. Said part of Luzon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers in Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Calayan and Babuyan group of islands. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies.

Luis enters PAR

The tropical depression being monitored by PAGASA has entered the Philippine area of responsiblity, where it was given the local designation of “Luis”. Its outer clouds will bring rains to Visayas and Mindanao.
