“Jose” weakens as it moves away PAR

In its latest bulletin, the PAGASA said that typhoon “Jose” continues to weaken as it moves away from the country. The typhoon was last seen near Aparri. PAGASA reiterated that “Jose” will not affect any part of the country, saying that it is the “habagat” that is bringing rains to the Philippines.

PAGASA monitors new storm

Another storm outside the Philippine area of responsibility is being monitored by the PAGASA, which will be designated “Jose” when it enters the country. The “habagat” continues to bring rains to much of the country.

LPA in Mindanao

According to the PAGASA, Glenda is well on its way to depart from the Philippine area of responsibility but a new low-pressure area was spotted and will enter the Philippine area of responsibility within 24 hours. The habagat continues to affect the country.

PAGASA spots two LPAs

PAGASA spots a low-pressure area inside the inter-tropical convergence zone and another low pressure area still outside of the Philippine area of responsibility. Bicol, CARAGA and Visayas will experience rains and thunderstorms while Metro Manila will experience cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.
