Philippines Experiences Rising Temperatures
Despite the northeast monsoon, the country is now beginning to experience rising temperatures as the said wind now passes the Pacific Ocean. Here are the other details of our weather update from PAGASA.
Northeast Monsoon Weakens
According to the PAGASA, the effects of the northeast monsoon will start weakening, with 20.7 degrees Celsius recorded yesterday, the warmest temperature recorded since the start of the northeast monsoon.
Northeast Monsoon Brings Light Rains
The northeast monsoon affects Luzon and Visayas while trough of low pressure area affects eastern Mindanao. The whole country will experience fair weather with partly cloudy and cloudy skies with some areas experiencing isolated rain and thunderstorms.
Scattered Rainfalls in the Country
According to PAGASA, despite the fair weather brought by the northeast monsoon in Luzon and Visayas, it will also bring cloudy and partly cloudy skies as well as isolated rain showers.
Rains in Luzon
Several parts of Luzon including Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Aurora and Quezon Province as well as Eastern Visayas will experience rains brought by the tail-end of the cold-front
Scattered Rain Showers in Luzon and Visayas
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon as well as Visayas will experience partly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers due to the northeast monsoon.
Northeast Monsoon Continues to Affect Luzon and Visayas
Northeast monsoon will continue to affect Luzon and Visayas while a trough of low pressure area affects Southern Mindanao causing rains in the Caraga region.
Metro Manila Experiences Cold Weather
According to PAGASA, Mindano will experience cloudy skies with thunderstorms due to the trough of the low pressure area. Visayas will experience rains due to the tail-end of the cold front. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will generally fair weather with partly cloudy skies and isolated rain showers. Expect cold weather brought by the north-east monsoon.
Visayas and Mindanao Will Experience Rain Falls
Eastern Visayas will experience rainfalls brought by the tail end of the cold front while Eastern Mindanao will experience rainfalls brought by trough of a low-pressure area. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience occassional rain showers.
Low Pressure Area and Northeast Monsoon Brings Rains
Eastern Visayas, Davao and CARAGA Region will experience rains brought by the tail-end of cold front and low pressure area. The rest of the country will experience fair weather with cloudy skies and isolated rain.
Cold Weather Still Expected For February
Although the country has recently experienced surprising warm weather brought about by the easterlies, weather experts predict cold weather will still be felt for the rest of February.
