(Eagle News)—Catholic nun Patricia Fox on Monday, Sept.3, filed an application for a tourist visa before the Bureau of Immigration.
The application was made following the BI’s denial of her appeal against the agency’s deportation order against her.
The BI had ordered her deportation after ruling she went beyond the terms of her missionary visa when she participated in partisan political activities.
Her missionary visa will lapse on Sept. 5.
Fox is also slated to appeal the BI order against her appeal before the Department of Justice.
