NEW YORK, U.S. (Reuters) — Paparazzi were stationed outside the Park Avenue Armory Wednesday (September 7) evening as supermodels past and present arrived for the Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2018 show for New York Fashion Week.
Among those making their way to the Manhattan building’s second-floor entrance through intermittent rain were Kim Kardashian, Cindy Crawford, and Doutzen Krouse.
This season, over 100 designers will show their latest creations in venues across New York, although some flagship brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Thom Browne, Proenza Schouler, and Altuzarra have opted to move their shows overseas.
The week-long schedule, which previously ran from Thursday to Thursday is streamlined to be a day shorter ending on Wednesday (September 13) this time around to give buyers and editors more time to fly out to London Fashion Week, which directly follows on the heels of New York.
