Pilot, student unhurt
(Eagle News)—-A Cessna plane crash-landed in a ricefield in Talavera, Nueva Ecija on Monday, March 4.
Authorities said the Cessna 172 type aircraft bearing the call sign RPC 2847 encountered an engine problem at 7:45 a.m. upon its takeoff from Lingayen, Pangasinan.
The plane, which was used for training purposes, was supposed to go to Cabanatuan before returning to Lingayen.
The pilot and his student were unhurt.
“Accident investigators from the Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board (AAIIB) are now on site,” authorities said.
