Chinese Foreign Minister Want Yi warned the United States “not to make trouble out of nothing” in response to U.S Navy’s plan to send a destroyer to the South China Sea.
A U.S defense official said the U.S. Navy plans to send a destroyer within 12 miles of China’s island in the South China Sea within the next 24 hours, according to the Cable News Network.
Wang, who is attending a China-Japan-South Korea seminar in Beijing on Monday, responded to the report that China is verifying the report and if it is true, China recommend the U.S. “to look carefully before leap, not to act rashly and not to make trouble out of nothing”. (CCTV)
