Classes canceled in a QC high school due to bomb threat

(Eagle News)– Classes at Don Alejandro Roces Science Technology High School in Quezon City were disturbed on Tuesday (September 6) due to a bomb threat that circulated on Facebook.

The said threat was posted on Monday night.

The bomb threat–made by a certain Kreggo– said that a blast will go around 2 pm inside the school premises.

Policemen checked the school’s premises for bombs as early as 6 am.

The search turned negative, and authorities believe that it was a prank. Still, several policemen were deployed at the school to ensure security.

The school administration allowed the parents to fetch their children from school.

Students were eventually sent home before 9 am.
