Classes suspended in some areas due to Typhoon “Jolina”

(Eagle News) — Classes on Tuesday, September 7, were  suspended in some areas due to Typhoon “Jolina.”

The following are covered by the suspension, based on the announcements of their respective  local governments:

  • Albay: all levels, public and private
  • Tacloban City: all levels, public and private
  • Eastern Samar: all levels, public and private
  • Northern Samar: all levels, public and private

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said “Jolina” is so far heading towards Masbate, where it is expected to make landfall within 12 hours.

So far, several areas in Luzon and Visayas are under Signal No. 3.
