Clinton wins Pennsylvania primary, her 3rd victory of night

WASHINGTON,United States (AFP) — Democratic presidential front runner Hillary Clinton on Tuesday scored her third primary win of the night over rival Bernie Sanders in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania, US networks projected.

Clinton — the former secretary of state, first lady and US senator — also won in Maryland and Delaware, according to US networks. The nominating contests in Connecticut and Rhode Island were still up for grabs.

On the Republican side, frontrunner Donald Trump swept all five primaries on Tuesday in the US Northeast.
