(Eagle News) — Cloudy skies and rain showers are expected in the Philippines today.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN, in particular, will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
The weather bureau said this was due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone affecting the southern portion of Mindanao.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.
PAGASA said this time, the conditions are due to the easterlies affecting the rest of the Philippines.
Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.
PAGASA said the whole country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
