(Eagle News) — The northeast monsoon is affecting the country today, Feb. 1.
As a result, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies and rains.
Flashfloods or landslides are possible during moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains.
Northern Luzon, Visayas, the rest of Luzon, and the northern and eastern section of Mindanao will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of Mindanao, on the other hand, will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
