(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected in parts of the country today.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Davao Region are due to a low pressure area estimated at 110 km southeast of Davao City, Davao del Sur.
PAGASA said flashfloods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.
According to the weather bureau, Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
PAGASA said this was due to localized thunderstorms.
Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
