Cloudy skies, scattered rainshowers expected in parts of PHL

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected in parts of the country today, Oct. 12.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms as the northwest and southwest winds converge.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized  thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon will have strong winds and rough coastal waters, while Visayas and the rest of Luzon and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
