Cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms to prevail in country today, April 17

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers will prevail over the country today, April 17, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

PAGASA said Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said flash floods during severe thunderstorms are also possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, PAGASA said, due to the easterlies affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The eastern sections of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have moderate winds and coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon and the country, on the other hand, will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
