MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Elections is confident that it will reach the target of 50% voter turnout in the overseas absentee voting, with 32, 364 Filipinos casting their votes in the various foreign posts. The largest voter turnout came from the Middle East and Africa. According to the COMELEC, this is the largest voter turnout in the history of the overseas absentee voting.
