MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Elections, in partnership with the micro-blogging site, Twitter, launched its official emojis for the 2016 elections. When the appropriate hashtags were used, the official emojis will be generated which includes the icons of each presidential candidates. The COMELEC believes that the use of emojis will contribute to the increased awareness of the voters regarding the election.
