COMELEC answers netizen’s accusations of partisanship

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) answered the allegations of netizens regarding the commission’s partisanship with the Liberal Party after the COMELEC allowed the extension of the deadline of submitting the Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) requested by  the LP.

According to Commissioner Rowena Guanzon, the COMELEC is not partisan and has allowed other presidential candidates’ requests like the substitution of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte.
