COMELEC records 150 malfunctioning VCMs

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Commission on Elections recorded 150 vote-counting machines that experienced malfunction at yesterday’s elections. According to COMELEC Commissioner Rowena Guanzon, most of the malfunctioning vote-counting machines were immediately replaced. The COMELEC added that these incidents were more acceptable compared to the last automated elections were 1, 300 machines experienced technical problems.
