(Eagle News)—The Statements of Contributions and Expenses of individuals who filed their certificates of candidacy for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections are due on or before June 13.
The Commission on Elections issued the reminder on Monday, May 21, the same day the election period officially came to a close.
With the end of the election period, the ban on “bearing, carrying and transporting of firearms and other deadly weapons and the availment or engagement of the services of security personnel or bodyguards” is also lifted by 12 midnight.
“Comelec checkpoints likewise cease operations at 12 midnight today,” the poll agency said.
According to the Comelec, SOCE forms are available for download at the poll agency’s official website.
Payment for services
To ensure the teachers’ complete payment for their services, the Comelec said the field officials are personally delivering the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) cash cards to the poll workers.
“For Region III, Election Officers (EOs) of Pampanga and Zambales traveled to the location where (Department of Education) personnel are attending a seminar in order to swiftly distribute the cash cards. Aurora EOs, meanwhile, distributed the cash cards door-to-door,” Comelec said.
It added cash card help desks were also set up “for easy and efficient distribution.”
