The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) will temporarily suspend the registration of new voters as well as the validation of biometrics of registered voters to give way to the filing of certificate of candidacy of those who plan to run for the 2016 elections.
The COMELEC reminded that the registration and biometrics validation will last until October 31.
