(Eagle News) — The Commission on Elections on Wednesday, Feb. 13, reminded voters not to “overvote” on the day of the elections in May.
According to Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez, voting for more than the maximum number of candidates allowed will invalidate one’s vote.
Jimenez said only 12 senatorial bets should be picked on election day.
Only one party-list group, on the other hand, is allowed, Jimenez said.
The campaign period for those seeking national posts officially kicked off on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
