QUEZON City, Philippines, June 5 (Eagle News) — The House of Representatives adopted the resolution asking the Sandiganbayan to place former president and now Pampanga representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo under house arrest on humanitarian grounds. The Justice Committee of the House of Representatives, under the chairmanship of Congressman Niel Tupas, issued said resolution last month.
