QUEZON City, Philippines, May 8 (Eagle News) — The Department of Agriculture (DA) urged the public to be careful in buying pork after receiving reports that several hog raisers are using anti-asthma medicine on their livestock. Said medicine may result in higher quality of meat but it has negative side effects on humans.
