TORONTO, Ontario (Eagle News) – With just five games left until the playoffs, the Toronto Raptors took on the Orlando Magic, who continue their quest for an NBA playoff berth. Despite a slow start in the first quarter, the Raptors came out on top, defeating the Magic 121-109.
Danny Green started off the first quarter red hot with 16 points. Green finished with a season-high 29 points, going 7-for-10 from beyond the arc.
With the season winding down as their focus shifts to the playoffs, the Raptors will need to harvest the chemistry needed for what many predict will be a deep playoff run.
Up next for Toronto are the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center on Wednesday, which could be a potential round one Eastern Conference playoff matchup.
