(Eagle News)—-Philippine National Police chief Oscar Albayalde has ordered the relief of the Daraga, Albay police chief.
The relief of Benito Dipad Jr. came after the killing of Rep. Rodel Batocabe and his bodyguard, SP01 Orlando Diaz.
Batocabe was about to board his vehicle from a gift-giving activity when they were attacked on Saturday, Dec. 22.
The police has said they were eyeing at least six suspects in the killing.
The National Bureau of Investigation has joined the probe, saying initial information showed the killing was politically motivated.
