QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Fatalities since the start of the Marawi City conflict has reached 461, according to records of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The government said that 337 of the dead were Islamist terrorists, including the Maute Group; 85 were soldiers and policemen, and 39 were civilians.
The figures were as of 6 p.m., Monday, July 3.
The AFP records also show that an estimated 300, 000 individuals from or near Marawi City have already evacuated.
The AFP also said that at least 1,717 had been rescued, and that government forces had recovered 410 high powered firearms.
