MANILA, Philippines, May 25 (Eagle News) — Top security and intelligence officials are asking the government to increase the defense budget for an aggressive build-up of the capabilities of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). The Philippines has the lowest defense budget in Asia, despite the increase in military spending.
