(Eagle News)– Philippine National Police chief Ronald dela Rosa on Monday said the ranks that figure in the list of unscrupulous policemen he submitted to President Rodrigo Duterte range from P01 to superintendent.
“Ibig sabihin they’re just risking their life, their future their career and the future of their family just because of the comfort na naibigay ng ilegal na droga. I don’t see the logic,” he said.
Dela Rosa’s statement came a day after Duterte said “about three superintendents, about 90, siguro mga minimum of 60 police,” should leave the PNP.
“I am starting the purging at huwag kayong ma-insulto kung hindi ka naman tinatamaan. Huwag kang magalit kasi ako galit na sa dati eh,” he said.
