According to Health Secretary Janet Guarin, starting next week, the dengue vaccine will be available in the Philippines. She added that it is only in the Philippines where the three-stage clinical trial for said vaccine was made. Although the vaccine is expensive, the Philippines was able to acquire it with a discount by meeting with the manufacturers during the APEC summit.
