QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Department of Education (DepEd) is currently prioritizing the Alternative Learning System or ALS. According to Education Secretary Leonor Briones, a large part of her proposed budget of Php 571 billion is earmarked for ALS.
Briones explained that it is important to prioritize ALS to give every Filipino the opportunity to get an education.
