PASIG City, Philippines – The Department of Education (DepEd) is ready for the opening of classes on June 1 for the start of school year 2015-2016. DepEd assured the public that there are sufficient classrooms, although those in areas with large populations may still experience jam-packed classrooms. Said department estimated that a total of 23 million students will attend classes this school year.
