(Eagle News) — The list of politicians allegedly involved in illegal drugs will be released tonight, Interior spokesperson Jonathan Malaya said.
According to Malaya, the so-called narco-list will be released in the National Peace and Order Council meeting in Davao.
He said the names will be announced either by Interior Secretary Eduardo Año or President Rodrigo Duterte.
The Palace has vouched for the release of the list, saying voters in the May elections should have a guide when casting their ballots.
Upon his assumption of office, Duterte publicly revealed the names of Philippine National Police officials and former officials who were allegedly engaged in illegal drug activities.
The so-called narco-generals have been charged.
