(Eagle News) — The Department of Interior and Local Government said it would conduct a fair probe of the five police generals linked to illegal drug operations by President Duterte.

DILG Secretary Mike Sueno said that they have already completed the members of this investigating panel.

Sueno also assured the DILG probe would hear the sides of the police generals, two of whom have already retired from the service.  The retired Philippine National Police generals are former PNP Deputy Director General Marcelo Garbo, Jr., and  Gen. Vicente Loot who is now the mayor of Daanbantayan town in Cebu.  The other police generals still in active service are Chief Supts. Bernardo Diaz, Edgardo Tinio and Director Joel Pagdilao.
