The Senate Blue Ribbo Committee is currently probing various controversial issues in aid of legislation.
Under the leadership of Senator Teofisto Guingona III, Chairman of Peace, Unification and Reconciliation, each issue is examined thoroughly – including issues about health like the Ebola virus.
Senator Guingona asks the media to be responsible in its reportage to prevent public panic.
So far, the Philippines remains Ebola-free.
Other issues being investigated by the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee includes the Malampaya Fund, the PDAF scam and the issues being alleged against Vice-President Jejomar Binay.
