Heavy traffic in our country’s main thoroughfares causes billions of pesos lost every year, which significantly impacts our economy, thus necessitating speedy resolution.
There is also a need for safety inspections of commercial vehicles as well as strict processing in the giving of licenses especially to the drivers of trucks and public vehicles since citizens’ lives are also on the line.
The government must monitor this long-standing traffic problem before the situation reaches more critical stages.
