DND to comply with ITLOS ruling on maritime dispute

MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Philippines will comply with whatever the ruling of The Hague-based United Nations International Tribunal on the Laws of the Seas (ITLOS) will release on July 12 regarding its maritime dispute with China.

This was stressed by the Department of National Defense (DND) public affairs service head Arsenio Andolong.

Andolong stressed that the president announced that he is willing to start to restart bilateral talks.

The Philippines on 2013 filed charges against china at the ITLOS over its overlapping nine-dash-line claims.
