DOH gives free vaccines

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Health (DOH) will give free vaccines to students. These include vaccines against cervical cancer which will be given to public schools in 20 of the poorest provinces in the Philippines.

The DOH will also give vaccines against diphtheria and tetanus to 2. 43 million Grade I students. The giving of said free vaccines is part of the national immunization project of the DOH, funding for which was derived from sin taxes.
