MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Health will start its dengue vaccination program on April 4 despite questions in the medical community regarding said vaccines safety and effectiveness. According to Health Secretary Janet Garin, the World Health Organization guaranteed that said vaccine passed stringent tests. The DOH is aiming for the vaccination of 1.4 Grade IV students in Metro Manila, Central Luzon and Calabarzon.
