The Department of Justice gave the task force that is conducting the probe on the “tanim-bala” scam in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport until December 10 to gather evidence. The DOJ admitted that the said issue is sensitive as it is not only talked about in the Philippines but in other countries as well.
Said department also cleared that President Benigno S. Aquino III did not give an order to the DOJ to ease off on the probe. Earlier, President Aquino accused critics of sensationalizing the said scam in order to discredit the government.
