QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Department of Justice (DOJ) guaranteed that they have witnesses to prove the alleged connection between Senator Leila De Lima and the illegal drug operations in the New Bilibid Prisons (NBP).
According to Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre, the DOJ has five to six witnesses against the senator that are ready to face the congressional investigation.
Aguirre also said that he already has in his hands a sworn statement regarding the rampant illegal drug operations in the NBP as well as the negligence of the former DOJ Secretary.
