DOJ ready to release resolution of SAF 44 case

According to the new Justice Secretary Emmanuel Caparas, the resolution against 90 members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) and private armed groups for their alleged involvement in the death of 44 members of the Philippine National Police – Special Action Force, is ready for issuance.

Caparas admitted that the resolution was delayed due to the number of witnesses and respondents but is now nearing submission, especially now that the investigation of the DOJ panel was finished.
