MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Tuesday advised motorists against using several areas in Metro Manila starting Friday until Monday next week.
In a statement, the MMDA said the Department of Public Works and Highways would undertake road reblocking and repairs starting 10 p.m. on the southbound lane of Edsa, the first one from the sidewalk, from P. Tuazon to North Road; and on the southbound lane of C.P. Garcia, particularly the second lane from the sidewalk from Katipunan Ave. to Ma. Regidor St.
MMDA Chair  Emerson Carlos said these affected areas would be fully passable by 5 a.m.
He said it was DPWH-National Capital Region Director Melvin Navarro who recommended the reblocking and repair of such areas.
