QUEZON City, Philippines, May 26 (Eagle News) — The Senate leadership will conduct a dialogue with President Benigno S. Aquino III regarding the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL). But before said dialogue, Senate President Franklin Drilon will consult his fellow Senators and will ask for a briefing from Senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Government, which is conducting a hearing on the said law. Drilon admits that the Senate may run out of time if the BBL is not passed this June since his fellow Senators will already be busy with regard to their candidacy come October.
