MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — Senate President Franklin Drilon defended the filing of a resolution calling for a Constitutional Convention (Con-Con) that sought to revise the 1987 constitution.
Drilon said there is a need to review and re-examine the 29-year-old Constitution and determine if it is still attuned or responsive to the demands of present-day realities.
