QUEZON City, Philippines – The Department of Social Welfare and Development prepared food packs for families in areas that will affected by severe tropical storm “Nina”. The food packs are prepared for the eventuality of families being stranded as well as for families staying in evacuation centers. The DSWD added that there is a stand-by supply of 500, 000 food packs as well as a stand-by fund worth Php 125 million. The DSWD also prepared non-food items like clothing and beddings.
