(Eagle News) — The Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission has a new commissioner.
This time, President Rodrigo Duterte appointed the same lawyer who sought his disqualification from the presidential race in 2016.
The appointment paper of Manuelito Luna Jr. of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption signed by President Duterte was dated April 17.
The copy, however, was only made available to the media on Thursday, April 19.
Luna represented Rizalito David when he sought for the disqualification of Duterte, then the Davao mayor, from the presidential race.
He again recently made headlines when he filed charges against former President Benigno Aquino III in connection with the Dengvaxia case, among others.
