QUEZON City, Philippines – The camp of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte denied allegations that the reason why Duterte did not attend the proclamation was because he don’t want to be in the same area with Vice President-elect Leni Robredo. According to incoming Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II, even before it became clear that Robredo will win the vice-presidency, Duterte already made known his intentions that he will not attend his proclamation. In his 30 years of public service, Duterte did not attend a single proclamation for any position that he won.
